Profile - Marketing Intern

The engagement terms of this role are 8 weeks, 6-8 hrs. a week approximately. Although the company’s view is to hire a graduate role at some stage in the future, this will depend on a number of factors that are outside of the company’s immediate control. Most members involved in the project are remunerated with shares only. To this extent, we offer a true start-up experience.

E-Terratech is a start-up company based in Queensland, Brisbane. Its purpose is to create water consciousness and commercialise and distribute sustainable state-of-the-art energy efficient water solutions that reduce water/energy & carbon emissions. Our market consumers and defined industry sectors.

Our award-winning solutions are unique, a first in Australia, one of a kind, and have no competition based on our present available data. As a result, our marketing strategy motto has been trial and learn. Now after 1 year, we are gradually seeing the fruits of our hard work and gaining the traction we deserve. With our time to market rapidly approaching, the time has come to become bolder and assist in the build of our highly anticipated website so that our potential customers can view, engage and realise the outcomes they want with the exhilarating solutions we have to offer, As a Marketing Intern, you will assist with different tasks that fit into the categories of social media management & strategy, digital and offline marketing, and content creation. There will be major opportunities for the intern to own the projects they want to learn more about & gain invaluable experience & training from our team.

The ideal candidate would have gained meaningful exposure to marketing through school or past internships, or their own social media. Furthermore, they should have a passion for creating high-quality content that is both engaging and compelling for our targeted audiences as well as crafted for specific channel requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Enhance present marketing strategy plan
  • Target defined B2B groups and B2C audiences with posts/articles
  • Design continuous ongoing weekly marketing campaigns across different channels and platforms
  • Using AI tools to create awesome posts
  • Plan, schedule and execute these campaigns across all platforms
  • Drive the development and implementation of surveys
  • Define KPIs impressions, engagement, etc. levels and present weekly analytics for all social channels
  • Design flyers and brochures for our solutions
  • Assist in the design and content creation of the website and integrated call to action
  • Assess, amend, format, edit, and post-capture original website content/news stories/ social media content, including graphics, photographs, and video
  • Maintaining project plan(s), deliverables, and timelines

Brennan Natho

During my marketing internship at E-TerraTech I was given the task of generating awareness for water scarcity and E-TerraTech's solutions. I found this task highly interesting as I was working within a niche market, which is largely uncontested domestically. Therefore, I had to create and capture demand, mostly through the company's social media platforms.

Over the 6 months, I developed and learnt new skills in a supportive but creatively autonomous environment. Most notably, I learnt how to utilise AI tools in order to reduce the amount of time required to produce content.

Profile - Web Developer

The engagement term of this role is 2 months. As an Intern Web developer, you will be responsible for building a one-page WordPress website going live within 1.5 months, and assisting the team with different marketing tasks, and social media content creation including AI tooling.

The ideal candidate is creative and would have gained meaningful exposure to marketing and more importantly web development through school, university, past internships, or their own social media and is at ease working in a team structure. Furthermore, they should have a passion and be at ease in creating a high-quality inspiring website that is both appealing, easy to navigate, and compelling for our targeted audiences as well as crafted for specific channel requirements within the designated time-frame.

Responsibilities:
  • Defining the project, scope, and objectives
  • Designing modern, engaging, excellent navigational and responsive scalable, brand-consistent web experience
  • Employing industry and design best practices through the website build process
  • Conducting extensive website testing
  • Integrating with different social media platforms and applications e.g. Hubspot /Mailchimp
  • SEO optimization
  • Ensuring website function and stability across devices i.e. desktop, mobile, tablet
  • Working with marketing to incorporate brand identity and relevant market research content across social media channels and website and so increasing the value of our digital assets
  • Providing internal support throughout the build and launch process of the website
  • Documentation of design.
Experience:
  • WordPress including standards, themes, and plugins

Soham Verma

I designed and built E-TerraTech's website using WordPress and the latest tools, defined the scope and project plan for the web project, collaborated with the marketing team, researched the target audience and latest design trends, and added features like contact forms and image sliders.
