wellness SHOWER
What is Wellness Shower?
The Wellness Shower is a sophisticated, environmentally friendly shower system that incorporates both a traditional shower and a Wellness mode for a more relaxing, spa-like experience. The system has a standard hand shower, similar to those in most households, which operates separately from the Wellness shower system and uses only 5 liters of water per minute
The traditional / regular shower
The system has a normal hand shower with the option of different versions. It comes with a water-saving shower that uses only 5 liters per minute as a standard. This shower functions the same as your current one and is separate from the Wellness shower system. You can adjust the temperature with the thermostat knob.
The wellness circular shower system
Switch to Relaxation mode after traditional shower for a Wellness circulating shower. Uses rainwater showerhead of 40x40cm and only 2 liters of water per minute, while providing over 35 liters per minute. Water is filtered, purified, heated, and refreshed through shower recirculation system.
Operation
When the shower is in wellness mode the reservoir which holds about 4.5 liters of water is filled and covered with a cover. As soon as the reservoir is filled, the pump starts to circulate the water. Hot water between 50-60 degrees will be added continuously to keep the shower warm. The water in the reservoir will therefore also be refreshed continuously. The excess water flows into the drain via the skimmer.
Step 1
The small reservoir fills with water.
Step 2
The water is sucked up from the reservoir.
Step 3
A microfilter stops hair and dirt.
Step 4
The UV filter cleans the water.
Step 5
Warm water (55/60 degrees) is added to refresh the shower water and keep it at the right temperature. Because a little bit of hot water is added every few seconds, you can occasionally feel temperature differences.
Step 6
Enjoy a wonderful "fall" from the large overhead shower.
At the top of the diagram, water flows from the showerhead into the central area of the shower base, which is sloped downwards towards a circular opening in the center. This opening is where the Wellness Shower Drain is located.
As the water flows towards the drain, it passes through a series of small holes located around the perimeter of the drain. These holes allow the water to enter the Wellness Shower Drain, which is a vertical tube that runs downwards into the floor below.
At the bottom of the Wellness Shower Drain, there is a small basin called the reservoir. This basin is designed to capture and store the water that flows through the Wellness Shower Drain.
When the shower is turned off, the water in the reservoir begins to drain away through a conventional drainpipe located at the bottom of the reservoir. However, before the water exits the building, it passes through a filtration system that removes any impurities or contaminants.
Once the water has been filtered, it can be reused for other purposes, such as toilet flushing, laundry, or irrigation. This process helps to conserve water and reduce the overall environmental impact of showering.
